Cando was pleased to host the 2nd Annual Economic Development Youth Summit!
This Youth Summit is designed for First Nations, Métis, Inuit and non-Indigenous youth from across Canada.
The Summit promotes the field of Community Economic Development and the role of the Economic Development Officer to youth. Why is this important?
• Tremendous need for increased capacity building in economic development in Indigenous communities throughout Canada.
• Seeking input of youth in Indigenous community economic development priorities and solutions.
• Promote economic development as a career choice for youth and showcase the positive impact Indigenous EDOs can have on communities.
The registration fee, travel and accommodations will be covered by Cando for the selected applicants.
