National Aboriginal Veterans Monument

  • Located in Confederation Park across from the Lord Elgin Hotel, this monument honours the contributions of Aboriginal Canadians in war and peacekeeping operations.

  • Indigenous Walks is a walk and talk through downtown Ottawa exploring landscape, architecture, art and monuments through an Indigenous perspective. Indigenous Walks will often provide participants with special guests to give “Spot Talks” which is a 5-10 minute talk given by local Indigenous people.
