ACP is a one-stop access on the Internet to information for and about Aboriginal Canadians. Over 16,000 links connect users to national, provincial and regional level information, from both government and non-government sources.

Through the Portal you'll find information on topics such as economic development, business, employment, culture, claims and treaties, Aboriginal organizations, news, justice, communities and upcoming events.  ACP has an Aboriginal Funding Tool, whick helps you find different types of funding available specifically for Aboriginal peoples in Canada.

 

Indigenous Bar Association (IBA)

IBA is a non-profit professional organization for Indian, Inuit and Metis persons trained in the field of law. The IBA plays an active role in promoting the development of Indigenous law and supporting Indigenous legal practitioners. Their site offers information on upcoming conferences, awards and scholarships, as well as an extensive links section.

 

Native Women's Assocation of Canada (NWAC)

NWAC is founded on the collective goal to enhance, promote, and foster the social, economic, cultural and political well-begin of First Nations and Metis women with First Nations, Metis and Canadian societies. As a national organization representing Aboriginal women since 1974 NWAC's mandate is to achieve equality for all Aborignal women in Canada.
