In many inner cities across the world, the practice of putting used syringes down manholes is common and it has become a major safety hazard to utility workers.

John has designed a unique method to facilitate recycling products that are difficult or not conducive to easy recycling. His idea was inspired by his handicapped son, Shane – hence the name of his presentation, “Shane’s World.” John lives in St. Chetwynd, British Columbia.

Angela lives in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and has developed a line of unique Aboriginal accessories for people who wear glasses. Her products are entirely designed by herself and are 100% handmade. She has been working to turn this hobby into a full-time business as the demand for her fashionable accessories increases.
