Committed to continued growth and success, Buffalo Point is seeking an energetic, motivated and talented professional to join their management team in the newly created role of Sales and Marketing Manager.
The Candidate: Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will utilize their passion and skills in sales and marketing to increase visibility of Buffalo Point Resort and its cottage lots and properties to potential guests, visitors and residents. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies into all areas of the resort, with an emphasis on the sale of cottage properties, time share packages and lease lots. Combined with a track record of success in developing innovative sales and marketing (programs or campaigns) that will help exceed sales targets and build strong relationships, the successful manager will possess the following key requirements:
• Post secondary education in business administration, marketing, commerce, or any other relevant field combined with at least 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination of both education and experience;
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with an ability develop new and manage existing customer relationships as well as both internal and external stakeholders;
• A proven flair for marketing with an ability to develop and implement creative strategic plans and campaigns;
• Demonstrated negotiation, project management, strategic planning and organizational skills and abilities;
• Strong experience developing and ensuring accuracy of sale, lease and purchase agreements and contracts;
• Demonstrated sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and decision making abilities; and
• Experience working with First Nations and in the real estate or hospitality/tourism industries are assets.
