CANDO's 8th Annual NIEEF Charity Golf Tournament

Monday, September 27th CANDO’s 8th Annual NIEEF Charity
Golf Tournament was held at the Legends “Battlefield” Golf Course. This golf course was an excellent place
for delegates, stakeholders and guests to get together to network. The tournament helped raise funds for
the National Indigenous Economic Education Fund (NIEEF), CANDO’s charitable
organization providing annual scholarships to Community Economic
Development students across Canada.
The tournament was a great success and there is no doubt that golfers truly enjoyed the day. After a plentiful dinner, and entertainment by impersonation act by James Kirkham, prizes were awarded to this year’s golf tournament winners in the following categories:
1st Place

CANDO's 8th Annual NIEEF Charity Golf Tournament was be held at the Legends on the Niagara Golf Course. Located just 15 minutes from The Falls on the Niagara Parkway, Legends on the Niagara is a breathtaking one-of-a-kind golf complex. This 1,000-acre course boasts two 18-hole championship courses, Battlefield and Ussher’s Creek, and is able to offer a wonderful mix of golf that include open holes where golfers have to negotiate fescue and sand traps, to parkland holes carved through a pristine Carolina Forest. The course also features an exceptional 45-acre driving range and a 9-hole executive course.
