The CANDO Annual General Meeting




The CANDO Annual General Meeting was held at the Marriott at River Cree Resort on October 6th, 2009.  Over 75 delegates, guests and stakeholders attended the AGM.  The meeting was preceded by the community tour, traditional lunch and The Federal Framework on Aboriginal Economic Development panel delivered by Allan Clarke, Director General, Strategic Policy Branch, Lands & Economic Development and David Hallman, Director General, Community Investments Branch, Lands & Economic Development from INAC.
 
The AGM Agenda included the following items:
  • Review and approval of 2008 AGM Minutes
  • Review of CANDO's 2008-2009 Annual Report
  • Review of CANDO and the National Indigenous Economic Education Fund's (NIEEF) audited financial statements
  • Review of the CANDO 2009 - 2010 Workplan
  • Student Board Member Election
  • Discussion of the 2011 Conference location
