As CANDO's 13th Annual National Conference & AGM will be held in Saskatchewan, thedesign naturally takes on the shape of the province. Shapes and colors then tell the story of celebration and milestones within the province. All Aboriginal groups, including First Nations, Métis and Inuit, share in this celebration under the energy of the sun and Mother Earth.
Graphic Designer/Publisher Lisa Doucet also celebrates a few milestones in 2006. She has been designing logos and printed material for 25 years ; as well, she now experiments with web design. Coming from a 'newspaper' family, Lisa carries on the tradition publishing Native Journal, which has been printed monthly and distributed nationally for 15 years.
Lisa considers herself among the lucky few who enjoy their work, which allows her a creative outlet.
